I continue to explore the lunacy, nostalgia, and even the humor woven into my series: Casual Chaos.
There’s always a fire, sometimes close, sometimes distant, grenades on the table or a kind of maniacal laughter and underlying strangeness about.
We cling to rituals and patterns that give us a sense of control. We move through cycles of requirement and release. At our core, I believe we are creatures who simply want to live well and peacefully.
I hold onto the edge and a desire for freedom, even as I portray the truth that avarice brings. The gold fever that burns forests and sedates the brave feels ever present to me. But we must live.
