EE Jacks Fine Art
I remember when violet hours rode the night wind
drumming in rhythm
some nights faster some nights slower
yet always together
beneath the petal-strewn roof of my dark journey
Hands rose up like little trees
begging the wind to remain
Thought became a blue flame
a visceral fluid that soaked through the leaves
and became a possible dream
A dream that whited out the very windows
that were painted black
We must remember again
like two wanderers returning at last
to the Eden
of one another
